Blocked spray jets - how would I check that exactly? And where is the washer motor located? Just trying to get an idea before I take it in.

You can use a thin needle to check the jets. The washer motor is usually near the fluid reservoir, but given that it is not working and you're getting an error, it might be more than just a blockage. It's probably best to have it checked at a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the workshop; seems the pump was faulty. New pump and labor came to 25€. All sorted now.

Hmm, strange that the warning light is on even with sufficient fluid. Are you sure the spray jets aren't blocked? Have you tried to hear if the washer motor is running when you try to activate the windshield washer system?
