Aveo headlight range control faulty
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Chevrolet Aveo diesel is experiencing a faulty headlight range control, resulting in an error and warning light, with low beams shining inconsistently. Possible causes include malfunctioning servomotors or a faulty control module. Checking the servomotors and ensuring the headlight switch is functioning normally are suggested steps. Ultimately, visiting a workshop for professional diagnosis and repair is recommended.

Servomotors, huh? Where exactly are those located, and how would I check them? And yeah, the headlight switch seems fine. Could a faulty control module also cause this?

Yeah, probably the servomotors are broken. I'm not sure how to check them by myself. I went straight to the workshop when that happened to me. Saved me some time, to be honest.

Thanks for the info! I think I'll take it to a workshop as well, sounds like it could be more complicated than I thought. The estimated cost is around 1040€, the servomotor is probably broken. I appreciate the help!

Hey, I drive an Aveo too, and I actually had almost the exact same thing happen last year. Headlight malfunction, right? Did you check the servomotors? Maybe one of those went bad? I'm no expert, but is the headlight switch functioning normally?
