Good call on checking the running voltage! I haven't yet. But if the voltage is off, does that pretty much confirm the sensor is toast? Just trying to narrow down the possibilities before I start throwing parts at it.

For me, a wonky voltage reading was the giveaway. Could be other things, sure, but the sensor is the prime suspect. Honestly, save yourself the headache and get it checked at a workshop. They can properly diagnose it.

Workshop it is. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. Turns out it was the battery sensor! Replaced it, and the flickering is gone. Cost me 315€, but at least she starts like a champ again. Cheers!

Sounds familiar! I've got an Avventura too. Had similar symptoms a while back. Did you check the voltage on the battery when the engine is running? What's it reading?
