Avventura brake shudder
Summary of the thread
The owner of a 2014 Fiat Avventura with a diesel engine experienced strange feedback from the brake pedal, described as shuddering. Initially suspecting undervoltage, the issue was later identified as warped brake rotors, worn brake pads, and brake shoes, along with old brake fluid. The solution involved replacing these components, resolving the brake shudder problem.

Yes, 'shuddering' is an appropriate description. Would you elaborate on the brake rotors or brake pads? Are there specific symptoms I should look for?

My Avventura also started shuddering during braking. I checked the brake system and the brake rotors were warped. Probably needs replacing. You should visit a workshop.

I appreciate the insight. The final repair cost was 240€. The brake rotors were indeed the primary issue, along with worn brake pads and brake shoes, as well as old brake fluid. Thank you.

I have the same car, a Fiat Avventura, though I can't say I checked for undervoltage. Is the feedback like a shuddering? Maybe your brake rotors or brake pads are going.
