Avventura heater blows lukewarm air
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Fiat Avventura diesel is experiencing an issue where the heater blows lukewarm air despite the engine being warm. The problem may be linked to a faulty water valve or its connections, which regulate hot water flow to the heating system. Checking for loose wires, corroded connectors, or a defective valve is recommended. The issue was resolved by addressing a faulty cable connection.

The water valve... hmm, I hadn't considered that. Where is that located, and what should I be looking for specifically? Could it just be a loose wire?

It's often near the firewall, where the heater hoses connect. A loose wire, a corroded connector, or even a faulty valve itself could be to blame. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop; they can quickly diagnose the problem and give you a quote. In my case, it turned out to be a defective connection, which the workshop quoted at 95€.

Thanks for the advice! I'll check the connections first, and if that doesn't work, I'll take it to a workshop as you suggested. Turns out it was exactly that, the cable connection was faulty!

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen in my Avventura. Have you checked the water valve and its connections? The heater's performance relies on that valve opening and closing properly. It's like a tap regulating hot water flow to your car's heating system.
