Avventura heater blows lukewarm air

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my 2016 Fiat Avventura diesel. The heater is blowing lukewarm air, even when the engine is warm. I scanned for codes, and there's an error stored. I was thinking maybe it's the heater core, but I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas?

It's often near the firewall, where the heater hoses connect. A loose wire, a corroded connector, or even a faulty valve itself could be to blame. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop; they can quickly diagnose the problem and give you a quote. In my case, it turned out to be a defective connection, which the workshop quoted at 95€.

Thanks for the advice! I'll check the connections first, and if that doesn't work, I'll take it to a workshop as you suggested. Turns out it was exactly that, the cable connection was faulty!
