Thanks! Yes, the rough idling is pronounced. Engine struggles to maintain RPM at a standstill. Misfires are more frequent. Does my suspicion of the fuel volume regulator, stemming from the high-pressure pump, sound right?

Yes, your assessment aligns with my experience. A defective high-pressure pump often causes issues with the fuel volume regulator, manifesting in those symptoms. I'd advise a workshop visit to confirm, but prepare for some costs. My repair was about 1510€.

Appreciate you confirming my suspicions. I'll book an appointment with my local workshop ASAP. Given the potential cost, it’s best to address this proactively. Thanks again!

I had similar symptoms on my Aygo. Could be a defective high pressure pump leading to a defective fuel volume regulator. Is the rough idling very noticeable?
