That's interesting! How would I know if that is the root cause of the issue? Can I somehow check it myself?

Well, a multimeter would tell you if the battery's putting out the right voltage, but honestly, if you're seeing memory lock errors and you suspect undervoltage, you're probably best off having a shop take a look. They've got the proper tools to diagnose the whole system. It might be more complicated than just a battery issue.

On my Aygo! You were absolutely right. Took it to the shop, and it was indeed undervoltage causing the memory lock issue. They sorted it all out for 240€. Thanks a bunch for pointing me in the right direction!

Hey! Yeah, I kinda know what you mean. Is the car battery okay? Had similar weird error messages on my old car, and it turned out to be a weak battery causing undervoltage issues. The car's computer gets all sorts of confused when the voltage drops!
