Aygo Oil Level Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Toyota Aygo owner experienced a recurring 'Check Oil Level' error message and intermittent oil pressure warning lamp, despite the oil level being normal. The issue was traced to a faulty oil level sensor signal, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. After consulting a workshop, the problem was confirmed to be a defective cable connection to the oil level sensor, which was repaired, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! No, the engine light isn't on, just the oil pressure warning lamp flickers sometimes. How did you check the sensor, and what did you find?

Mine ended up being a dodgy connection. I didn't fancy messing with it myself, so I took it to a workshop. They sorted it quickly. I'd suggest doing the same.

Okay, I see. Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a local workshop. Turns out, it was indeed a defective cable connection to the oil level sensor, like I suspected. They replaced the connector, cleared the error codes, and everything seems to be working perfectly now. Cost me 95€, which isn't too bad.

I had something similar happen with my Aygo. Is the engine light also on? I'd check the sensor itself before assuming the worst.
