Aygo Oil Level Sensor Fault

I'm having a nightmare with my 2022 Toyota Aygo, gasoline engine. The error message 'Check Oil Level' keeps popping up in the speedometer, and the oil pressure warning lamp lights up intermittently. I've checked the dipstick multiple times, and the oil level is fine! I even scanned for error codes, and it's showing a faulty oil level sensor signal. Could it be a defective cable or plug connection? I'm a bit lost.

I had something similar happen with my Aygo. Is the engine light also on? I'd check the sensor itself before assuming the worst.

Thanks for the quick reply! No, the engine light isn't on, just the oil pressure warning lamp flickers sometimes. How did you check the sensor, and what did you find?

Mine ended up being a dodgy connection. I didn't fancy messing with it myself, so I took it to a workshop. They sorted it quickly. I'd suggest doing the same.

Okay, I see. Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a local workshop. Turns out, it was indeed a defective cable connection to the oil level sensor, like I suspected. They replaced the connector, cleared the error codes, and everything seems to be working perfectly now. Cost me 95€, which isn't too bad.
