My 2007 Toyota Aygo diesel with 196354 km has a start-stop issue. It shuts off, but won't restart automatically. There's an error stored and a warning light. Fuses are fine. I suspect a discharged battery. Anyone else seen this?

I had a similar issue with my Aygo. The start-stop system relies heavily on a healthy battery. When the charge drops too low, the system disables itself. Have you load tested the battery? That's the best way to see if it's the problem.

Yes, those were the exact symptoms. The engine would cut out fine, but wouldn't restart, and the same warning lights came on. Given that your battery might be old, it's probably the source. I'd recommend getting it tested at a workshop.
