Battery weakness and flickering lights in the Citroën Nemo: sharing experiences and advice

Hi guys, I'm a bit worried about my Citroen Nemo, gasoline engine, year of manufacture 2010, already has 70,238 kilometers down. When I start the engine, the battery is weak and my lights flicker or are too dark. I suspect that my auxiliary battery could be faulty. Have any of you had similar experiences? How did you deal with it and what did you experience when you visited the garage? I had a lousy mechanic last time and am now a bit wary. Would love your advice!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2013 Citroen Berlingo. The engine had difficulty starting and the lights also flickered. In my case it was actually the battery. It wasn't a huge problem, but it should be fixed. The mechanic at the garage removed the old battery and fitted a new one. It was pretty easy and quick to do. Don't worry, battery problems are pretty common and usually easy to fix. Hope this helps you.

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! Well, the battery replacement for my Berlingo cost me €290 at the time. I haven't had any similar problems since. Replaced the faulty auxiliary battery and everything is running smoothly again. So, don't be afraid of a visit to the garage, the guys will sort it out. Good luck with it!
