Hey! Thanks for the reply. I've checked the basics - fuses, refrigerant level (seems okay), but haven't dug too deep. The error code pointed towards the refrigerant compressor, but could it really be the AC control unit causing the compressor to fail like that?

Yep, the compressor was my first thought too, but after swapping it, the problem remained. After further research, it turned out the control unit was faulty. It wasn't sending the right signals. I'd advise getting it properly diagnosed by a workshop, but keep the AC control unit in mind.

Thanks a bunch for the insight! Took it to a local shop, and after diagnostics, they confirmed it was indeed the AC control unit. Repair cost me around 980€, but at least it's finally fixed! Appreciate the heads-up; saved me a lot of headache!

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms on my Berlingo. The AC stopped cooling, and there was definitely something up with the system not kicking in at all. Was there any specific error code in the memory? What have you checked so far besides the error memory?
