Berlingo Airbag Warning Light
Summary of the thread
The airbag warning light in a 2019 Citroen Berlingo diesel remains on, with diagnostics indicating a potential cable or plug issue in the airbag system. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by checking and cleaning the airbag-related connectors, particularly under the seats. Despite inspecting these connections, the problem persisted, leading to a workshop visit for further repair.

Thanks. Could you specify which connections under the seats were the problem in your Astra? I'll inspect them, but targeted guidance would be helpful. I'm not aware of any airbag recall for my Berlingo.

Sure. On my Astra, it was the yellow connector for the side airbag in the driver's seat. I unplugged it, cleaned it, and plugged it back in. It's not the same car, but check all the airbag-related connectors you can find. If you're not experienced, I'd suggest going to a workshop!

I inspected the connections, but the problem remained. I visited a workshop to have it looked at. The repair cost 95€. Thanks again for your assistance.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my older Opel Astra. The airbag light kept popping up and it was a faulty connection under one of the seats. Maybe check those connections in your Berlingo first? Any recalls for your model concerning the airbags?
