Thank you for the insight! When you mention the wiring harness, are you referring to the main harness leading to the AUC sensor, or are there specific points I should examine more closely? Is there any way to check without proper tools?

Yes, the main harness. I'd recommend against probing too much without the right tools, though. Given the symptoms and fault code, it really does sound like a faulty connection. In my case it was hard to find. Since your car is relatively new, perhaps the best course of action is to take it to a trusted workshop for a thorough check. It costed me 95€ to fix the issue.

Alright, I appreciate the advice! It seems I'll schedule an appointment with a mechanic to investigate the wiring and connections. I will be looking for a workshop and hopefully the problem will be resolved. Thank you!

That's peculiar. I had a similar HVAC sensor issue with my old 2018 BMW 3 Series, even though it's a completely different beast. In my case, the air conditioning sensor seemed to be sending erroneous data. Have you checked the wiring harness and connector for corrosion or damage? That Auto Recirculation sensor can be tricky.
