Berlingo Electric Blower Motor AUC Sensor Fault

Experiencing an issue with my 2023 Citroen Berlingo electric, which has 249193 km. The blower motor won't operate and diagnostics point to an AUC sensor fault. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered something similar?

That's peculiar. I had a similar HVAC sensor issue with my old 2018 BMW 3 Series, even though it's a completely different beast. In my case, the air conditioning sensor seemed to be sending erroneous data. Have you checked the wiring harness and connector for corrosion or damage? That Auto Recirculation sensor can be tricky.

Thank you for the insight! When you mention the wiring harness, are you referring to the main harness leading to the AUC sensor, or are there specific points I should examine more closely? Is there any way to check without proper tools?

Yes, the main harness. I'd recommend against probing too much without the right tools, though. Given the symptoms and fault code, it really does sound like a faulty connection. In my case it was hard to find. Since your car is relatively new, perhaps the best course of action is to take it to a trusted workshop for a thorough check. It costed me 95€ to fix the issue.

Alright, I appreciate the advice! It seems I'll schedule an appointment with a mechanic to investigate the wiring and connections. I will be looking for a workshop and hopefully the problem will be resolved. Thank you!
