Berlingo fuel level sensor fault

I've visually inspected the wiring harness as best I could without removing the fuel tank, but I didn't see anything obvious. Was your issue definitely the sensor itself, or something else in the fuel system?

In my case, after checking the wiring, the fault persisted, so I bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the fuel level sensor. Replacing it sorted the problem.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local garage and they confirmed it was a faulty fuel level sensor. New sensor fitted, total cost 52€. Everything is fine now.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Berlingo – same symptoms. Did you check the wiring harness and connector to the fuel level sensor for any damage or corrosion?
