Berlingo Idle Air Control Valve Issue

My 2014 Citroen Berlingo, gasoline engine, has 133406 km on the clock. The check engine light keeps popping on, and the codes say it's an idle air control valve issue. The engine stalls sometimes when I'm just sitting at a light. I've tried cleaning the throttle body, but it didn't really help much. Any ideas?

I had similar issues with my Berlingo. Is it struggling to maintain a steady idle speed, particularly when the engine is cold?

Yeah, that's exactly it! Cold or hot, it's just generally rough at idle, like it's gasping for air. You had the same stalling issue too?

Correct. The problem lies within a heavily contaminated intake system. I recommend a visit to a competent workshop.

I took it to a local mechanic; they confirmed it was the idle air control valve, just like the error code said. They cleaned the intake and replaced the valve. Cost me 425€, but it's running like new now. Appreciate the help!
