Berlingo rough running and stalling

My 2015 Citroen Berlingo (gasoline engine) is running rough and sometimes stalls when idling. The check engine light is on, and it feels like it's jerking a bit when I accelerate. I've checked the spark plugs and they look ok. Could it be a dodgy ignition coil? I've looked at the connections and the cables seem ok, but maybe the plug connection of the component is defective?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Berlingo a while back. Rough running, stalling... the whole shebang. The check engine light drove me nuts. Did you notice if it happens more when the engine is cold, or is it consistent?

Good to know I'm not alone! It seems to be happening regardless of whether the engine is cold or warm. Any idea what fixed it for you?

Yep, mine was doing it all the time too. Turned out to be a faulty ignition coil. Honestly, I fiddled with it for ages and eventually just took it to a workshop. They diagnosed it pretty quickly and replaced the coil. Saved me a lot of hassle in the end.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll do the same and take it to a shop. Just got the bill - 95€, ignition coil replaced and the engine runs smoothly again!
