Berlingo Rough Running Stalling

When you experienced this, did the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) specifically indicate a fuel pressure sensor malfunction, or were the codes more ambiguous? Also, what areas of the wiring harness and connector did you inspect, as I want to be thorough?

The code pointed towards fuel pressure issues, but it wasn't a super clear 'replace the sensor' kind of message. It was more like 'fuel system performance' or something vague. I checked the connector first for any signs of corrosion or damage, then traced the wiring back as far as I could see without tearing everything apart. Honestly, after messing with it for a bit, I just took it to a workshop. Best money I've spent. They confirmed it was a dodgy connection and fixed it properly.

I inspected the wiring harness and connector leading to the fuel pressure sensor, but no luck. So, I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a defective fuel pressure sensor, with a compromised connection. The repair, replacing the sensor and fixing the connection, cost 95€. The Berlingo is now running smoothly again.

I had similar symptoms on my Berlingo. Rough running, stalling at idle. Before you go ripping the sensor out, have you checked the wiring harness and connector to the sensor itself? These are known to cause issues, especially with corrosion or becoming loose. Give them a good look over before condemning the sensor. Could save you money and time.
