Clogged hoses, huh? Where exactly are those hoses located? And I don't know about error codes, I just saw the engine light turned on...

The hoses are connected to the purge valve, part of the EVAP system. It's designed to vent fuel tank vapors. Considering you're not familiar, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. A damaged valve can cause vacuum leaks and lead to the issues you're experiencing.

Thanks a lot! I took it to the shop as you suggested. Turns out you were right, it was the tank ventilation valve and some clogged hoses! Cost me 175€ to fix, but now it runs like a charm. You saved me a ton of guesswork!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Berlingo. Those symptoms sound like a tank ventilation valve problem. Check for clogged hoses in the EVAP system. Has the 'check engine' light come on before? If so, what were the error codes?
