Bipper check engine light vacuum leak

Hello, I have a 2014 Peugeot Bipper with a gasoline engine and ~102500 km on it. Recently, the check engine light came on. I did some research, and it seems like a defective hose connection from the fuel pump to the air valve is causing it. Could this be a vacuum leak issue?

Hey! I had similar check engine light issues with my Bipper. It could very well be the vacuum hoses. Those hoses tend to crack and cause idle problems because of unmetered air getting into the intake. Start by checking all your vacuum lines and connections.

Thanks! Could you possibly offer more information? Which exact hose did you replace, and where is the air intake you are talking about?

I didn't do the actual fix myself, but a mechanic told me that it was most likely a degraded vacuum hose creating a leak! At a shop, they will connect it to some kind of machine that creates an artificial fog, and see where the fog comes out; that's where your leak is! I'd recommend consulting a workshop.

It was the mentioned air valve connector hose. 175€ in total, and the check engine light is gone! Thanks a lot for your help diagnosing this issue! Hopefully, it will help someone else on the forum in the future.
