Bipper Fault Memory Lock Active Error

I've got a 2009 Peugeot Bipper with a diesel engine, and I'm encountering a persistent "Fault memory lock active" error. The only symptom is the error stored in the error memory when I run diagnostics. I suspect undervoltage, but I've checked the usual suspects. Has anyone seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my Bipper. It was driving me nuts! Do you have any aftermarket electronics installed? I remember mine started acting up after I installed a new radio.

Interesting. I haven't installed anything new recently. Did the error message specifically mention a memory lock, or was it something different?

Yeah, it was the same error message, "Fault memory lock active." Honestly, after chasing it for a while, I gave up and took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Thanks for the input! I took it to a shop as you suggested. Turns out it was undervoltage alright. They cleared the fault and did some control unit software revisions. Cost me 240€, but at least it's fixed!
