Bipper Power Window Failure
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2008 Peugeot Bipper diesel, the power windows stopped functioning, and an error was stored in the memory. This issue might be due to the car's electronics needing a reset or the window regulator requiring re-initialization. Attempts to resolve it manually were unsuccessful, and it was suggested to seek professional assistance, which ultimately resolved the problem.

Initialization? How do I do that? I tried holding the window buttons up and down, but nothing happens. Is there a special trick or something?

Yeah, holding the buttons didn't work for me either. Honestly, I messed with it for ages and gave up. Took it to a workshop and they sorted it out with their diagnostic tool. Probably best to get it checked out; could save you a headache. They said something about the car electronics needing a reset after the battery change.

Thanks, man! Sounds like I'm heading to the shop then. I was hoping to avoid it, but you're right, probably best to leave it to the pros. They sorted it out for 290€ and now everything is working as expected.

Dude, I had something similar happen in my Bipper! The window regulator might need to be re-initialized. Did you try any reset procedures? It's like the car forgot the window positions. I remember it being a real pain.
