Bipper solar sensor fault low heating
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Peugeot Bipper is experiencing a solar sensor fault and low heating output. The issue may be related to the cable and plug connection of the solar sensor, as a similar problem was resolved by checking the continuity of the cable with a multimeter. It is suggested to have a workshop thoroughly inspect the cable and plug to identify any breaks or faults.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the quick reply! I did a visual check of the cable and plug, but everything seemed fine. How did you pinpoint the cable/plug as the issue? Did you use a multimeter or something?

Yeah, I started with a visual inspection too, but it didn't reveal much. A mechanic then used a multimeter to check the continuity of the cable and found a break in one of the wires. He suggested the fault could be related to the sensor itself, but I'd advise you to just go to the workshop.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to a workshop and have them check the cable and plug more thoroughly. They quoted me 95€, so hopefully it will be the end of it.

Interesting. I've got a Bipper too, and I had a similar problem last winter. The low heating output was driving me crazy. Did you check the cable and plug connection of the solar sensor? That was the culprit in my case. Is the sensor itself faulty, perhaps?
