Yes, the diagnostics gave me error code 5203. Do you remember what the error code was in your case? And did you try fixing the sensor yourself?

I don't recall the exact error code, sorry. I didn't attempt a DIY fix though. Auto electronics can be tricky, so I took it straight to a workshop. They sorted it out quickly.

Thanks for the advice. I took your suggestion and brought it to a workshop. They found the same issue - corroded connector on the water sensor. Repair cost me 95€. Everything seems to be running smoothly now.

Interesting. I had a similar issue with my older Opel Corsa, also a diesel. The symptoms sound the same: engine light and rough running. In my case, the error memory pointed to a moisture sensor problem. Did the diagnostics give you a specific error code?
