Thank you for the quick response! Could you please elaborate on where exactly I should be looking on the steering column? I am trying to avoid dismantling too much.

Certainly. It is right where the wiring harness enters the column, near the wiper switch itself. However, given the error stored in the memory, I would recommend visiting a workshop. The repair cost for the cable seems appropriate.

I appreciate your input. It appears a broken cable was indeed the culprit. I followed your advice and had the wiring harness repaired at a workshop for 95€. Thank you!

I had a similar problem with my Bipper. Check the wiring harness where it passes through the steering column. It's a common spot for chafing and breaks. Did you check the wiper motor itself? Or the rain sensor, if equipped? Sometimes a short there can cause issues.
