Blazer Radar Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Chevrolet Blazer experienced a recurring speedometer error and warning light, with error memory indicating a radar sensor malfunction. The issue was suspected to be caused by a dirty sensor, which can interfere with integrated safety systems. Cleaning and recalibrating the sensor at a workshop resolved the problem, confirming that dirt accumulation was the primary cause.

The Blazer has 130562 kilometers. How should I clean the sensor? What cleaning agents or techniques should I use to avoid damage?

Given the mileage and symptoms, cleaning is worth trying, but I suspect the sensor is faulty. A workshop visit is a good idea. They can pinpoint the problem and calibrate the sensor if needed.

I visited a local workshop as suggested. The sensor was just dirty! A cleaning and recalibration for 45€ resolved everything. Thanks!

A faulty radar sensor can trigger a cascade of errors because it's integrated with safety systems like adaptive cruise control. What's the mileage? Have you tried cleaning the sensor? Road grime might interfere with it.
