BMAX Airbag Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Ford B-MAX owner experienced an airbag fault indicated by a warning lamp on the speedometer. The issue was traced to a possible defective cable or plug connection. A suggestion to check the connections under the seats led to the discovery of a loose wire, which, once fixed, resolved the airbag warning issue.

Under the seats, huh? Interesting. I was focusing on the crash sensors themselves. Which connections exactly gave you trouble on your Astra?

Yeah, it was a pain. It was the connector for the seat occupancy sensor. Caused all sorts of airbag warnings. I'd say, check all the plugs you can find that are related to the airbag system, but eventually, you will probably need to go to the workshop.

Okay, thanks for the tip! I checked the under-seat connections like you suggested and, bingo, a loose wire! I've managed to fix it (cost me 95€). Airbag light's gone. You're a lifesaver!

Hey there, I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra. Airbag light was on constantly. Did you check the connections under the seats? Those wires can get loose or damaged easily.
