BMAX Battery Drain

Experiencing a significant issue with my 2014 Ford BMAX, gasoline engine. The battery is being heavily discharged, error message in the speedometer, weak and flickering lights, a stored error, and a weak battery when starting. Anyone seen this?

Hey, I had something similar happen with my BMAX. Error messages, dim lights, and a battery that just wouldn't hold a charge. Have you checked the battery sensor? That was the culprit in my case.

Thanks. Could you provide more details regarding the battery sensor? Were the symptoms identical, and did a diagnostic scan pinpoint the sensor?

Yep, pretty much the same. Lights flickering like crazy, error messages popping up, and the car struggling to start. The garage ran a diagnostic and the battery sensor was throwing up all sorts of errors. I'd recommend getting it checked out properly.

Understood. Following your advice, I had the vehicle inspected. The battery sensor was indeed defective, resulting in a repair cost of 315€. Thanks for your help.
