BMAX ECU Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Ford BMAX owner experienced reduced engine power and diagnostics indicated a possible ECU fault. The issue was suspected to be related to a bad main relay. Another individual with a similar experience suggested checking the relay, and a workshop confirmed that a defective main relay was indeed causing the ECU issue. The problem was resolved with a repair costing 120€.

Interesting! Battery's fairly new, maybe a year old. When you had this, was it definitely the ECU, or could it have been something else? What did the garage say?

Well, they mentioned a relay messing with the ECU. If you don't know much about car electrics, get it to a workshop. Proper diagnosis is worth it.

Hey, I had something similar with my BMAX. Reduced power, engine light. I didn't check the codes myself, but ECU issues are possible. How old's your battery?
