Hello everyone, I have a 2010 BMW 3 series with a diesel engine and 196,500 km mileage. I have a problem with the check engine light illuminating. When reading the fault memory of my N47 320d, the error code "004CA0" - DDE: Oil pressure switch, plausibility was found. However, nothing is illuminated in the instrument cluster. About 700 km ago, the engine was extensively overhauled (bearing shells, timing chains, improved oil pump, etc.). After the repair, I cleared the error, but now, after about 3 weeks, it has reappeared. In the meantime, the error disappeared when reading it several times. Does anyone have experience with this problem and can help? I've heard it could be the oil pressure sensor itself, which costs about 15-20€. Thanks in advance for your help!
