Hi, I have a strange problem with my 5 series BMW, year 2017, gasoline engine. The car smokes black when accelerating, the check engine light is on, it takes longer to cold start, has a loss of power, the engine runs rough, jerks when accelerating, sometimes won't start at all and it stalls at idle. I suspect that an injection valve may not be working properly. Have any of you ever had similar problems and can give me some troubleshooting tips? Hi, something similar happened to me with my 2015 BMW 5 series. I don't have that much experience with cars, but I fixed the problem at my garage. It turned out that the injection valve was dirty.
