Hey again! Happy to give you an update! Since my last post, I went ahead and got it fixed, turned out my initial guess about the hose connection was spot on. The mechanic charged me 175€ to sort out that faulty connection between the pump and valve. Money well spent, if you ask me! Haven't had a single problem since the repair, no more check engine lights, no stalling, and the engine's running smooth as silk. The secondary air system's working exactly like it should now. Honestly, I was pretty relieved it wasn't anything more serious! The actual fix ended up being simpler than I'd worried about, mainly just that dodgy hose connection playing up. My advice would be to get it sorted sooner rather than later. These kinds of issues tend to cause more headaches (and cost more) if you leave them too long. Thanks for the update! Really glad to hear it worked out well for you. Actually, I bit the bullet and took mine to a new mechanic yesterday. You were right about the hose, that was exactly the problem! Cost me about the same as yours, and they fixed it in just a few hours. The funny part was when the mechanic showed me the old hose, it was completely shot! Can't believe such a small part caused so much trouble. The engine's running beautifully now, no more jerking or stalling. The check engine light's finally off too, what a relief! I was nervous about trying a new mechanic, but this guy really knew his stuff. He even showed me what to look out for in the future.
