Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm dealing with this warning for about 2 weeks now. All tire pressures are actually fine when checked with a gauge, but the system shows low pressure for the front right tire only. My iX just had its latest service done at 67651 KM, and this started happening shortly after. Really appreciate the heads up about the sensor battery, that sounds like it could be the culprit since the actual tire pressure is good. The price you mentioned seems reasonable if it fixes the issue for good. Will probably get it checked out by a certified EV workshop this week to be on the safe side.

Hey again! Thanks for those extra details, that actually sounds even more similar to what I experienced with my i4. The fact that it's only showing low pressure on one tire (front right) while the actual pressure reads fine with a gauge pretty much confirms what I suspected. In my case, it also started acting up right after a service, which was really annoying. The timing with your service visit is probably not a coincidence, sometimes the calibration can get messed up during maintenance, but in our cases, it really points to a sensor issue. I'm actually glad I went ahead and replaced my sensor because the warning was driving me crazy, and trying to recalibrate the system multiple times didn't help at all. The workshop confirmed the sensor battery was completely drained, which is a common issue in these models after a few years. Just a heads up, make sure they check if the sensor is actually the original one from 2021. If it is, it might still be under warranty depending on your service agreement. I had to pay because mine was out of warranty, but it's worth checking in your case. Let me know how it goes when you get it checked out. These BMW EVs are great cars, but they can be a bit finicky with their sensors sometimes!

Thanks so much for all this detailed info! You're right, I just checked my paperwork and my iX is actually still under the extended warranty, so I'll definitely bring that up when I take it in. Really helpful to know about the calibration possibly getting messed up during service too. Makes total sense now why it started acting up right after. I just booked an appointment for tomorrow morning actually. The warning is driving me nuts too, especially since I know the tire pressure itself is fine! Can't wait to get this sorted. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, it's made me feel much better about what I'm dealing with. I'll definitely update the forum once it's fixed in case anyone else runs into the same issue with their BMW EV.

Hey! I have some experience working on EVs. I actually faced something very similar with my 2019 BMW i4 (my second BMW after the i3). The exact same warning lights and errors popped up on my dash last winter. After a bit of panic, I took it to my regular workshop where they diagnosed it as a drained sensor battery in one of the TPMS sensors. Total repair was 280 Euro, they had to replace the faulty sensor. To help you better, could you share: How long has this been happening? Are all tires showing low pressure or just one? Have you checked the actual tire pressure with a gauge? The symptoms sound identical to what I experienced, but it's best to confirm these details to be sure we're dealing with the same issue.
