Thanks for sharing your experience with the i3s! That's really helpful, seems pretty similar to what I'm experiencing with my iX1. Mind sharing how much you ended up paying for the ASC relay module replacement? Also curious if you've had any other issues pop up since getting it fixed? My car's been sitting in the driveway since the warnings started, definitely doesn't feel safe to drive it like this. Fingers crossed it's just the relay module in my case too.

Hey again! Happy to update you, yep, I got the issue sorted and it was exactly what I suspected. The ASC relay module needed to be replaced, and it set me back 90 Euro including labor. Pretty straightforward fix, honestly. The mechanic had it done in about an hour. Since getting it fixed, the car's been running like a dream, no more warning lights, jerky acceleration is gone, and all safety systems are working perfectly. It's such a relief! Haven't had a single issue pop up in the weeks since the repair. Those warning messages that were driving me nuts? All gone. You're absolutely right to keep the car parked until it's fixed. These safety systems aren't something you want to mess around with. At least now you've got a good idea of what you're dealing with, hopefully it'll be the same straightforward fix for your iX1. Let me know how it goes when you get it checked out!

UPDATE: Just got back from the mechanic, and I've got to share my experience! Took it to a certified BMW technician who actually knew his stuff. Turns out it wasn't just the ASC relay module, there was also a faulty wiring harness that was causing the multiple system failures. The total repair came to about 400 Euro, quite a bit more than expected, but at least everything's fixed now. The mechanic did a fantastic job explaining everything. He showed me the corroded wiring and the damaged relay module. The repair took about three hours, but the wait was worth it. The car's running perfectly now, no more warning lights, jerky movements are gone, and all systems are working like they should. Really glad I asked for advice here first. Having some idea of what to expect made the whole repair process much less stressful. Thanks again for sharing your experience, it helped me make the right decision to get it fixed right away!

Hey there! I had a similar situation with my 2019 BMW i3s last month. The symptoms were nearly identical, ASC and ABS warnings, jerky acceleration, and multiple system failures. The root cause turned out to be a defective ASC relay module, which was affecting multiple systems since it's integrated with the vehicle's stability control. When the relay fails, it disrupts communication between various control modules. From my experience at the garage, they first ran a full diagnostic scan which confirmed the relay failure. The repair involved replacing the ASC relay module and recalibrating the system. It was a serious issue that needed immediate attention since it affects core safety features like stability control and ABS. I wouldn't recommend driving the car much in this condition, the jerky acceleration alone could be dangerous, not to mention the disabled safety systems. Better get it checked by a certified EV technician who's familiar with BMW electric systems. Take care
