Only cost me 95 € in the end, which was a massive relief as I was expecting much worse. Since getting it sorted at the garage, the car's been running like a dream. No more annoying warning lights or error messages popping up on the dash. The oil level readings are spot on now, and I can actually check the levels through the car's computer system again. Such a relief! Looking back, I was stressing way too much about it. Sometimes these BMW sensors can act up for the smallest reasons. My advice would be to get it checked out sooner rather than later, might save you some cash if it's just a simple fix like mine was. Hope you manage to get yours sorted without breaking the bank!
