Bolt GPS Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Chevrolet Bolt is experiencing a 'No GPS reception' issue, with an error related to the GPS antenna stored in the error memory. The antenna connection appears visually intact, but the antenna itself is suspected to be defective. The software is up-to-date, ruling out software glitches, and the most likely solution is to replace the faulty antenna, which can be confirmed and addressed by a workshop.

The signal is completely gone – never locks on. I thought about new software, but the system says it's current. Is there anything else I should be looking at before I just replace the antenna?

Honestly, if the software is current and the connection looks good, a bad antenna is the most likely culprit. At this point, the best course of action would be to visit a workshop to get it checked out. It's probably a simple replacement, but they can confirm it.

Thanks! I appreciate the confirmation. I'll get it checked out. Seems like the antenna replacement will be around 200€. At least it shouldn't be too expensive!

Yep, sounds like a faulty GPS antenna. Is the signal completely gone, or does it come and go? Also, have you checked for any new software for your infotainment system? Sometimes that can cause weird glitches.
