Bolt Windshield Wipers Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Chevy Bolt's windshield wipers have stopped working entirely, with an OBD2 scanner indicating an error related to the wiper system. A local garage suspects a faulty cable or plug as the cause. Another individual experienced a similar issue, initially with intermittent wiper function, which was eventually resolved by replacing a defective plug. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle inspected by a professional, with the hope that it is a minor plug issue.

Interesting! No, the cruise control and turn signals seem totally fine. Just the windshield wipers are dead. Was your issue also just completely dead wipers or something intermittent?

Mine started as intermittent, wipers stopping randomly for a few seconds/minutes. Then one day, they just died completely. I tried everything, but eventually had to take it to the shop. They said it could be the motor but in the end it was just a defective plug like you suspected.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm headed for the shop too. They quoted me about 95€ for the work. Hopefully, it's just a plug issue like yours was!

I had something similar happen in my Bolt. The wipers would just randomly stop mid-swipe. Thought it was the rain sensor acting up, but it happened even when the windshield was dry. Did your cruise control or turn signals act weird at all?
