Boxer Air Suspension Failure

Thanks. I haven't checked for hissing. Where are the air struts and compressor located on the Boxer? I did reset the error memory, but the error reappears immediately.

Error coming back right away strongly indicates a hardware fault. On the Audi, the compressor was near the rear axle, and the struts at each wheel. Check the manual for the Boxer's locations. Since resetting didn't work, I'd recommend a workshop. A faulty bellows valve could cause those symptoms. My valve block repair cost 800€, but prices vary.

Understood. Thanks! I inspected the air struts and found a leak at the right-side strut's bellows valve. The workshop confirmed the defective bellows valve and quoted 590€ for the repair. I'll proceed. Your insights helped narrow it down!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar suspension issue with my old Audi A6. Leaning, bumpy ride, error messages all point to pneumatic suspension. Mine was a faulty valve block leaking air. Check for hissing around the air struts or compressor? Did you try resetting the error memory?
