Boxer Alarm Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Peugeot Boxer electric vehicle experienced a malfunctioning anti-theft alarm system, with diagnostics indicating an error in the memory and the system being non-functional. Initial checks, such as battery voltage, did not resolve the issue. The problem was identified as the alarm system being incorrectly coded to activate optical locking, which was fixed at a garage for 45€.

Thanks, I'll look into that. When you say alarm sensor, are we talking about the internal sensors or something else? And what do you mean module?

Nah, no false alarms, total silence. I'm thinking it could be the alarm system is coded to activate optical locking. You might want to take it to a workshop anyway

Thanks for the help. The garage found the issue. Apparently, the alarm system was coded to activate optical locking (indicators). Cost me 45€ to fix.

Sounds like a proper pain. I had similar weirdness with my old Vauxhall Astra, but it was the alarm sensor. Is the thing giving you false alarms too? If so, I'd check the module.
