Boxer Electric Low Battery Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Peugeot Boxer with an electric engine is experiencing a low battery error, flickering lights, and difficulty starting, suggesting a heavily discharged battery. The initial suspicion is a defective battery sensor. A similar case confirmed that replacing the faulty battery sensor resolved the issue, and a visit to the workshop is planned to address the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! You're saying you had the exact same symptoms? Did you also suspect the battery sensor? And if so, did it turn out to be the culprit, or was it something else entirely?

Yep, the symptoms sound eerily similar! I also considered the battery sensor being faulty, to be honest. But in my case, it turned out to be exactly that. Replacing the battery sensor fixed it, the issue won't go away until you fix it properly. If it looks like it, take it straight to a workshop.

Fantastic! Thanks a million for confirming. I'm off to the workshop tomorrow then! Just got the repair bill and it will be 315€. Hopefully, this will be the end of this headache, thanks again!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Boxer. Low battery warnings, dimming lights, the whole shebang. Have you tried checking the voltage on the battery itself? Or maybe testing the alternator to see if it's charging properly? It could also be a parasitic drain somewhere, but those are a pain to track down. Although, I had this when I brought my Boxer from the dealer...
