Boxer Transmission Issues

Anyone seen this before? My 2001 Peugeot Boxer diesel is showing issues. Getting MIL illumination, error codes, gearbox in emergency mode, slipping, and grinding. Transmission oil temperature sensor fault. Suspect low oil - anything else obvious to check?

Boxer here too, same symptoms. Did you check your transmission oil level? I had similar behavior. Is it an automatic?

Yeah, it's an automatic. So low oil caused all those symptoms for you?

Pretty much. Limped along for a bit before I caved. Bit the bullet and took it to the shop. Not worth the headache trying to fix it yourself, trust me.

Cheers, appreciate the input. Turned out the oil was indeed low, sensor was goosed as well. 365€ later… all sorted.
