BR V water sensor fault
Summary of the thread
The owner of a 2018 Honda BR-V diesel is experiencing issues with the water sensor, causing the check engine light to illuminate and the engine to run roughly. Despite checking the cable and plug, the problem persists. It is suggested that the issue might be a deeper electrical problem, and a visit to a workshop is recommended. Eventually, the problem is identified as a faulty cable on the sensor, which is repaired at a cost.

It's showing 29721 km. Any ideas about what I should check next?

OK, fairly low mileage for that kind of problem. If you've checked the obvious connections, it might be a deeper electrical issue. Without proper testing equipment, I'd honestly suggest taking it to a workshop.

You were right, took it to a workshop. They checked it over and it turned out to be a faulty cable on the sensor, just like I thought! Cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks for the advice!

Hmm, that's odd. Water sensor issues aren't super common. How many kilometers does your BR-V have on the clock? Might be useful info...
