So, with your Megane, was it definitely the brake booster pressure sensor? And did you have any issues with the ABS system at all?

Yeah, it turned out to be the pressure sensor. I didn't mess with it myself though. Took it straight to a workshop. They replaced the part and it fixed the issue. I think they mentioned something about bleeding the brakes properly afterwards to avoid further problems. So, yeah, get it checked out properly. Could prevent further damage to the ABS system.

Took it to the shop, they confirmed the brake booster pressure sensor was faulty. They said the ABS system might have been affected. They replaced the sensor, ran diagnostic tools to check the hydraulic brakes and ABS system, and all seems good now. Apparently, it might have been bled incorrectly at some point, which caused the issue. Total cost was about 90€ for the replacement parts and labor. Thanks for the advice!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! Had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane. Error message popped up, and the braking felt really weak. Did you check the error memory with diagnostic tools? Could be a faulty pressure sensor. I'm no expert, but it's worth a look.
