C Klasse gasoline engine rough idling and stalling

I also have a C Klasse. Your symptoms do sound familiar. Reduced engine performance and uneven idling could definitely point to fuel injection issues. Have you noticed any changes in emissions or any unusual smells?

I don't know about emissions but there's a gasoline smell sometimes. Is this what you experienced? Maybe clogging?

The gasoline smell is very concerning. Clogging is a possibility, but it's hard to say for sure without proper diagnostics. Based on what happened to me, and those symptoms, I'd really advise getting it checked by a workshop as soon as possible. Could prevent further engine damage.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to a shop and they confirmed it was a defective injection nozzle. Repair cost 515€. Seems like a dirty injection valve was the likely cause.
