C Klasse Hybrid Check Engine Light and Power Loss

Check engine light and power loss on my 2015 C Klasse Hybrid. The engine occasionally stalls at idle, and I've noticed reduced engine power. I suspect it might be a defective fuel volume regulator or a failing high pressure pump. Could this be related to any of the car sensors or fuel economy? Scanned the codes, and it points towards fuel regulator issues. Has anyone seen this before?

Sounds rough! I had similar issues with my old Vauxhall Astra, but it was the fuel regulator acting up. It cost me a fortune in diagnostics. Was your fuel economy worse than usual before this happened? It could be a clue.

Fuel economy seemed normal before the light came on. Did your Vauxhall throw any other codes or have specific symptoms leading to the fuel regulator diagnosis? I'm trying to narrow down if it's definitely fuel injection related before I shell out serious cash.

Yeah, definitely get it checked. Mine started with rough idling, and then the power loss got really noticeable. I'm no expert, but if you're getting fuel regulator codes too, it sounds like that's probably the culprit. It's best to get it to a workshop before it gets worse.

Thanks for the input. I took it to the workshop, and you were right: defective fuel volume regulator/high pressure pump. Repair cost is 1510€. Ouch, but at least it's sorted.
