C1 AC Compressor Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Citroen C1 diesel had an issue with the A/C compressor shutting off randomly and not cooling properly, with an error code stored. Possible causes included undervoltage, a faulty pressure switch, belt tensioner, or A/C relay, and potential refrigerant leaks. The problem was ultimately traced to an undervoltage issue caused by a dodgy connection, which was resolved at a local garage.

Battery is fairly new, maybe 18 months old. Where exactly is the A/C relay located on this thing?

The relay location can vary, check the owner's manual or online diagrams specific to your C1. Given it's intermittent and throwing codes, could still be electrical. If you aren't comfortable tracing that yourself, a decent workshop should be able to diagnose it quickly.

Cheers, turns out it was undervoltage related to a dodgy connection. Got it sorted at a local garage. Cost 240€ in the end.

Could be a few things. How old is your battery? Undervoltage can cause weird issues. Also, have you checked the pressure switch and belt tensioner? A/C relay could also be faulty. Any sign of refrigerant leak?
