C1 Air Conditioning Fault

Hi, I've got a 2008 Citroen C1 diesel with 233172 km on the clock. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory and an error message showing up on the speedometer. Plus, the air conditioning won't switch on. I'm told it's a defective temperature sensor heat exchanger. Anyone else had this issue?

Well, in my case, the defective AC control unit caused the system to think the temperature sensor was faulty and throw those error codes. Think of it like your brain misinterpreting signals from your hand. It's probably best to get it checked out by a workshop, but that was my experience.
