C1 Blower Motor Issue

My 2020 Citroen C1 with a gasoline engine has a blower motor that's not working. It seems the AUC sensor is the problem. I'm wondering if it's a bad cable or plug. Has anyone else had this?

That's a tricky one. I had a similar problem with my BMW 3 series. The climate control went haywire, and it turned out to be a faulty odor sensor. Check the wiring harness and connections to the AUC sensor. A visual inspection might reveal corrosion or damage.

Thanks for the insight. With the wiring harness, were there any specific weak points you saw on your BMW?

On my BMW, the issue was a corroded connector near the sensor itself. Because your Citroen is relatively new, corrosion is less likely, but still worth a check. If you're not comfortable with electrical work, I'd suggest a workshop. It shouldn't cost too much.

I took your advice and brought the car to a workshop. Replacing a faulty connector to the AUC sensor fixed it. The final cost was 95€. Everything works now.
