C1 check engine light and stalling

Citroen C1 aficionados, my 2021 Citroen C1 with a gasoline engine has a check engine light and stalls at idle at 236299 kilometers. I suspect the tank ventilation valve system, maybe clogged hoses. Has anyone else had this, and what did you check? I've checked the gas cap. I'm trying to avoid a costly emission system repair, and I'm worried about the purge valve.

I had something similar happen on my C1. If the symptoms match, I'd bet it's something with the EVAP system. I'd say it is the hoses.

Yeah, same symptoms. I wouldn't bother tinkering too much; just take it to a workshop. They'll diagnose it properly and fix it faster than you can. Could save you some time and headache.

I took my C1 to a mechanic, who confirmed it was the tank ventilation valve hoses. The repair, including replacing the hoses and a system check, was 175€. Thanks for the help; your experience helped fix this.
