C1 engine stalling after fuel filter change

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra after a fuel filter replacement. Check engine light, rough idle, the works. Did you make sure the fuel lines were properly seated and tightened after the change? A slight pressure drop could trigger the regulator error.

Well, on the Astra, even a small leak caused enough of a pressure imbalance to throw the fuel trims way off and trigger the CEL. And yep, it was the fuel pressure regulator error code. Honestly, after messing with it for a bit, I just took it to a workshop to get it sorted. Probably the best bet unless you have a proper scan tool to monitor fuel pressure.

Turns out the regulator was indeed faulty, probably got a surge when I replaced the filter. They swapped it out for 45€, and the C1 is running smoothly again. Appreciate the help!
