C1 Fuel Flap Issue

I've got a head-scratcher with my 2005 Citroen C1 diesel. The fuel flap release is completely dead! The error memory's lit up, I can't lock or unlock the thing, and other random functions are throwing tantrums. I suspect the linkage is bust, but am I missing something obvious before I tear into it?

Woah, sounds familiar! I had a similar drama with my C1. Is it completely unresponsive, even with the key fob button? I'm wondering if it might be related to a dodgy lock actuator rather than just the release cable itself.

Yeah, the key fob's useless for the fuel flap now too. I was thinking it was a cable issue as the button doesn't do anything. So, did you end up replacing the whole actuator? Was it a pain to get to?

Turns out, for me, it was a bit more than just a dodgy cable. I'd recommend taking it to the workshop. They can test the actuator and the wiring properly. It will save you time in the long run, trust me!

Cheers for the advice! I booked it in, and you were spot on – it was the actuator and some dodgy wiring. Cost me 210€ to get sorted, but at least it's working now!
